A podcast series that discusses climate and environmental issues, ideas, and solutions. We use both a biological and anthropological perspective to host inquisitive conversations with innovators, academics, artists, researchers, and indigenous folk.
Project Description
Our focus is to raise awareness about environmental stewardship, sustainability, conservation, and to discuss stewardship practices that anybody can implement. Over the course of an episode, we will raise questions, discuss and look for answers to get people thinking about conservation with an interdisciplinary approach that includes the arts, social justice, biology, ecology and anthropology.

Ocean Wise is based in the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We work across Turtle Island and beyond, supporting Indigenous peoples in their vital work on ocean conservation and biodiversity whenever possible or as we are invited to.
